AD6056 Acrylic Spray - 56: Aluminium - Metallic - 150ml

Humbrol No. 56 Aluminium is a Metallic Acrylic aerosol spray in a 150ml can. The solvent-based, fast-dry formula is made for plastic model kits and resin models, and works on many other substrates. Colour 056 maps closely to Federal Standard references FS35550, FS36495, and Natural Metal Finish (NMF). Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades.

• 150ml aerosol, more paint per can than the 100ml Metallic sprays it competes with
• Metallic Aluminium sheen for bare-metal aircraft skins and vehicle panels
• 2 thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, giving opaque, even coverage
• Touch dry in 15 - 30 mins; hard dry in 1 - 2 hours, with Metallic shades taking approximately 10 days to harden fully
• Wet paint lifts with Humbrol Enamel Thinners; the paint is permanent once dry
• Also available in Matt, Satin, Gloss and Metal Cote finishes

Ideal For

• Plastic model kits and resin models
• Wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster and sealed hardboard
• Large-area base-coating where brush application would be impractical

How to Use

Spray at least 25cm from the substrate with an even back and forth motion. Let the first coat hard-dry for 1 - 2 hours before applying the second. Warning: this is a solvent-based aerosol; spray in a well-ventilated area, away from naked flames, and keep it away from anyone under 14 years.
