AV0209 Enamel Wash - Oil Stain - 28ml

A 28ml pot of Oil Stain Enamel wash from the Humbrol weathering range. The solvent-based formula creates realistic weathered, oiled and grime effects on plastic model kits and resin. Unlike Acrylic washes, it can be reworked and lifted with Enamel Thinners rather than curing waterfast.

How to Use

Seal Acrylic base paint with a Gloss varnish first, so the wash sits on the surface and wipes back cleanly. Brush from the jar or palette and apply two thin coats rather than one thick coat, or thin with Enamel Thinners for finer control and faster drying. Lift excess promptly with a cotton bud dampened in Enamel Thinners (AC7501/AC7430); this solvent-based product is hazardous, so work in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from children under 14 years.
