DB0024 Acrylic Paint - 24: Trainer Yellow - Matt - 14ml

Humbrol No. 24 Trainer Yellow is a Matt Acrylic paint supplied in a 14ml dropper bottle. The water-based Gen 2 formula is colour matched to Federal Standard FS33538, the aviation reference for trainer aircraft liveries. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades, and this self-levelling resin system lays down a smooth coat with no pigment blotching. Satin, Gloss and Metallic finishes are also available.

Key Features

• Matt finish in Trainer Yellow, matched to Federal Standard FS33538
• 14ml dropper bottle for controlled, mess-free dispensing
• Rich pigmentation with high opacity, giving full coverage in two thin coats
• Touch dry in 20 - 40 mins; hard dry in 1 - 2 hours
• Water-based Acrylic that cures to a tough coat with good scratch-test durability

Ideal For

• Plastic model kits and resin models, including Airfix aircraft
• RAF and USAF trainer aircraft liveries calling for FS33538
• Most plastics, resin, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard and sealed plaster

How to Use

Brush straight from the bottle or palette, or airbrush after thinning with water or Acrylic Thinners at a ratio of 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, so let the first coat hard-dry before applying the second. Prime bare plastic first for the best adhesion, and clean brushes with water or Acrylic Thinners while wet, or cellulose once dry.

Warning: not suitable for children under 3 years.
