AQ0011 Enamel Paint - 11: Silver - Metallic - 50ml

Humbrol No. 11 Silver is a Metallic Enamel paint, supplied in a 50ml metal tinlet. It is solvent-based and developed for plastic model kits, though it works on many other substrates. The 50ml tinlet holds around 3.5 times the volume of the standard 14ml tin, useful for larger areas or batch builds. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades.

Ideal For

• Most plastics, plus resin, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard and sealed plaster
• Exhausts, engine parts and other metal detailing on scale model kits
• Locomotive and rolling stock finishing, and fittings on model boats

How to Use

Brush straight from the tin or palette, or spray from over 25cm with a spray can. For airbrushing, thin with Enamel Thinners (AC7501/AC7430) at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, so let the first coat hard-dry before applying the second.

Warning: this is a solvent-based paint. Use it in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from children. Not suitable for under 14 years.
