AQ0010 Enamel Paint - 10: Service Brown - Gloss - 50ml

Humbrol No. 10 Service Brown is a solvent-based Enamel paint with a Gloss finish, supplied in a 50ml metal tinlet. Developed for plastic kits, it also covers resin, wood, metal, glass and ceramics. High pigment density gives solid opacity in two thin coats and dries thin enough to keep raised detail crisp. Warning: solvent-based, so use in a well-ventilated area away from naked flames; the age guidance is +14 Years.

Key Features

• Gloss finish in Service Brown, the British Army utility and military vehicle colour of WWII
• 50ml metal tinlet, brush or airbrush application
• Touch dry in 20 - 40 mins; hard dry in 4 - 6 hours
• Longer wet-working time than Acrylics, so you can blend and layer camouflage before the paint sets
• Resilient enough for outdoor use once hard dry

Ideal For

• WWII British Army vehicle schemes in 1/35, 1/48 and 1/72 scale
• Railway layout detailing, from rolling stock to wooden trackside structures
• Diorama woodwork, crates and engine bay parts

How to Use

Stir thoroughly before use, then brush straight from the tin or palette, or spray from more than 25cm. For airbrushing, thin with Humbrol Enamel Thinners (AC7501/AC7430) at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat: let the first coat hard-dry, then clean brushes with Enamel Thinners.
